Who we are

Almond Grazed Proteins was founded on a simple belief-the way we raise beef should honor both the animals and the families who sit down to eat it. We are a small Northern California ranch with deep roots in agriculture. We finish every animal ourselves using a unique almond-based feed sourced directly from local farmers. This creates a naturally marbled, nutrient-rich beef with a clean, slightly sweet finish that you won’t find anywhere else.

We don’t outsource. We don’t mass-produce. We raise, feed and finish every animal with intention. They are fed the right feed, in the right environment, and with zero shortcuts. Our cattle are finished in a quiet, covered feedlot surrounded by almond orchards, far removed from industrial chaos. It’s slow, patient, ranching-the way it should be.

Almond Grazed Proteins was founded in 2022 by Logan Sandate and Danielle Zuppan, driven by a shared passion for cattle and a dream to build a beef business from the ground up. This dream has taken several years to bring to fruition as well as a lot of blood, sweat, and tears. We couldn’t have done this without each other and all of our amazing family and friends and all of our amazing clientele. Thank you for helping us build this dream.
